Recently, a gentleman in the UK contacted me and requested that I help him with his vision improvement training over the phone. Shortly after that, an Optometrist in the US contacted me with the same request.

I began teaching them via phone which seems to be working quite well for both of them, so far.

However, as my mother used to say, ‘The proof of the pudding is in the eating.' I want to be certain that Private Vision Lessons over the phone are at least as effective as Private Vision Lessons in person. As my experience consulting with vision students by phone increases, I will know how well this method delivers.

One of my commitments to vision education is to only do things that really work for you, the student.

Another possible option for those of you who are interested in distance learning is video-conferencing using a web-cam to see each other during the consultation. I like the idea of a web-cam conversation and I am gaining experience providing Private Vision Lessons online with a video camera.
